Two months ago, I read an amazing article on Daily Mail newspaper by British physicist Stephen Hawking on time travel. In this article, introductory concepts in the science of time travel such as the fourth dimension, wormhole, and GrandFather paradox are presented in his fascinating and straightforward writing style. The greatest success of this article, in my opinion, is his excellent ability to explain such a complicated problem to average readers who often have almost no background knowledge on this subject.
To those of you who don’t know Stephen Hawking, he is considered the world’s foremost living theoretical physicist. He is also Lucasian Professor of Mathematic of University of Cambridge, which was once held by Sir Isaac Newton.
Today, I stumbled across on Youtube some time travel videos in Stephen Hawking’s series which were broadcasted on Discovery channel not long ago. So if you don’t like or don’t have time to read his lengthy post on Daily Mail, this five-part video is another great option to learn more about time travel. After all, who wouldn’t want to know the differences in time travelling between reality and comic books like Doraemon ? 😉
The contents of the article and this below video are exactly the same. Enjoy! 🙂
